Responsible for forecasting customer requirements, communicating requirements to traders, submitting nominations to pipelines, tracking gas flow and supply imbalances, entering volume and cost information.

The position requires the individual to work directly with traders, account managers, other suppliers and customers to coordinate the delivery of natural gas and minimize imbalance costs and penalties.

Major Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Forecast and programing of the daily requirements of customers
  • Communicate changes in required quantities to traders
  • Nominate the required daily natural gas quantities to the internal team.
  • Assures and maintains proper communication canals with suppliers and clients.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the rules, procedures and timelines for all within a designated market area on which TC operates
  • Track and reconcile nominations, deliveries, imbalances, and actual customer usage
  • Maintains the tracking and control of all information related to nomination, usage and data bases related.
  • Captures transactions (sale and purchase) in a system or data base and updated as required.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers, consultants, account managers and accountants
  • Program gas flux measurement system according to supply strategy.


Qualification & Education


  • A Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business, finance, chemistry or math related.
  • Experience related to scheduling and transportation of energy industry or energy- related commodities
  • Knowledge of the energy market in Mexico and fixed regime.
  • Advanced computer literacy with Microsoft Excel
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail are a most.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and relate to customers, outside contacts and fellow employees.
  • Commercial mindset is desirable
