Our Corporate Security, Legal & Compliance, and Facilities Value Realization team is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are looking for a DevOps Specialist to join us.

We are seeking an innovative IS professional who has knowledge and experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting creative IT solutions that add business value. This individual has the proven skills, competencies, and experience to deliver quickly using the latest technology. After solutions are delivered, we need someone who can rise above just meeting SLAs and closing tickets and provide truly proactive support by analyzing trends and aggressively looking for ways to prevent issues. 

What you’ll do
• Assist with solution design and development for the Corporate Security, Legal & Compliance, and Facilities client groups
• Independently work on details of projects and assignments providing solutions and innovative ideas to support the team
• Work in small cross-functional product teams when required to enable TC Energy to reach organizational goals
• Work with third party vendors to identify and apply solutions
• Proactively look for trends and ways to reduce and prevent recurring issues
• Provide excellent customer service to various stakeholders across the organization at multiple levels
• Respond to and resolve incident and request tickets utilizing ServiceNow
• Perform application maintenance such as patching, debugging, maintenance, documentation and upgrading
• Other tasks as required
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Business, Computer Science or related discipline from a recognized institution is a requirement
• Minimum of three (3+) or more years of relevant working experience is required
• Previous experience with coding, development tools, servers, and database interactions for a large enterprise
• Understanding and experience working with agile development methodology
• Intermediate experience and proficiency with various business software applications (SAP, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, MS Office Suite, Visio, Power BI)
• Ability to build effective relationships and communicate effectively with team members, business partners, external vendors and key stakeholders
• Outcome-obsessed problem solver who can work efficiently and effectively and take initiative to support large projects to resolution
Preferred Qualifications
• SAP experience is considered an asset
• AWS experience and certifications would be beneficial for this role
• RPA, machine learning, and AI experience
• Azure DevOps and Microsoft Power Platform experience
• Hands on experience and understanding of the ServiceNow platform to provide support and service in addition to previous configuration and development experience
• Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and structure work to assigned tasks
• Proven experience providing excellent customer service providing logical recommendations and solutions
• Previous experience supporting iManage, LawBase, Diligent Entities, Thomson Reuters OneSource (GTM), Genetec Security, Opet Text Axcelerate, or DocuSign applications
