Fraud Alert
TC Energy is aware that some job seekers have received false recruitment offers from individuals or organizations posing as TC Energy, its subsidiaries or organizations that TC Energy entrusts with recruitment efforts. Please keep in mind these important tips that distinguish legitimate TC Energy recruitment practices and offers from illegitimate ones:
- On occasion, TC Energy will accept resumes from approved third-party vendors for career opportunities posted on our
career website, www.jobs.tcenergy.com. - TC Energy does not require payment from anyone seeking employment at any time during the recruitment and/or selection process.
- TC Energy does not make early requests for personal information, including passport information. Passport details are rarely requested and may only be requested to verify a candidate's eligibility to work in Canada if a work or student permit has already been obtained.
- Formal offers of employment are only made once the recruitment and selection process is complete.
If you’re concerned you’ve been contacted by a fraudulent individual or organization posing as TC Energy or its recruitment partners, or are unsure about an offer of employment, please forward the details to careers@tcenergy.com. Note: resumes sent to this email address will not be considered; please apply directly to our current career opportunities at www.jobs.tcenergy.com. Alternatively you may send details of suspicious recruitment activity to your local authorities for appropriate action.
